The grass in the the childrens play area at Gurnard Green has become wet and muddy which is slippery. There is also a danger of wet mud being transferred to play equipment which could be hazerdous. The Isle of Wight Council have therefore closed the area. They hope to be able to do some work to improve the situation next week.
