Hi – it is raining extremely hard but water is coming up through the road (splitting the tarmac) and lifting a manhole cover on the road and what was the pavement of 40 Shore Road. There is a culvert / pipe underneath the building plot and I think it must be cracked or have a hole in it. When it rains hard the pipe can’t cope especially when it’s high tide and the water comes up through the road tarmac. Definitely needs further investigation. Although this is happening right now 1730 on 3/01/24 I and many others have witnessed on other occasions of heavy rainfall. Thanks – hope this helps.
