The minutes of the meeting of the Gurnard Parish Council Planning committee commencing at 18.30 on Wednesday 25th September 2024 at Gurnard Village Hall, Westbrook Lane, Gurnard, PO31 8JR.

 

Present: Councillors Fuller (Chair), Franklin, Jacobs, and Wood

Clerk: Richard Shaul

 

No members of the public were present.

Apologies: Cllr Acton, Bugden, Bustin and Nolan

  2. Cllr Fuller declared a non-pecuniary interest in agenda item 4, Planning Applications. As cabinet member for planning, things that are said in this meeting may change if further information is presented.

  1. Minutes

The minutes of the Planning Committee meeting of 31st July 2024 were taken as read, approved as a correct record and signed by the chair. No matters arising.

Variation of condition 2 on 22/01688/FUL to allow reduction in dwelling length and addition of solar panels to west elevation roof

Resolved: Gurnard Parish Council do not object to this application. However, the council request that a management construction plan is undertaken to ensure that there is no damage to the sea wall and that there is a survey of the sea wall prior to commencement.

Demolition of existing chalet and outbuilding; Construction of chalet

Resolved: Gurnard Parish Council do not object to this application. However, the council request that a management construction plan is undertaken to ensure that there is no damage to the sea wall and that there is a survey of the sea wall prior to commencement.
